Our impact The Difference We Make Each year the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust roughly serve a population of over 750,000 people, on an average year our Hospitals will treat in excess of 140,000 accident and emergency patients, over 600,000 outpatients, over 140,000 inpatients and around 5,000 babies are delivered. The Charity has been growing ever since it was set up in 1996. Each year the Charity fund numerous projects, pieces of equipment and extra’s to support the Trust’s workforce and the patients cared for. Some highlights of our work have been: Funding a Sensory Room at Pilgrim Hospital Boston. Purchasing a new MRI Scanner for the people of Louth Wedding boxes for end of life patients. Teddy bears for babies on the neonatal unit. Alongside these items for patient care and support, the Charity also fund wellbeing initiatives and support for our NHS workforce. These have included: Funding the tidy and refurbishment of our outside spaces so staff can enjoy breaks outside. Funding Christmas meals for staff working over the festive period. Over £140,000 worth of items for staff in our Thank You Initiative. The difference we make is seen daily all across our Hospitals. We focus our funding on four key areas.
