In Easter last year, my mum got diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Following a successful surgery on the 16th of May to have the cancer removed plus a sample of lymph node, my mum is now cancer free. Following on from the surgery, on the 23rd of August, my mum started a 10-day course radiotherapy treatment plan. All of this was done at Lincoln Hospital so as a thank you, I have decided to raise funds for the ULH (United Lincolnshire Hospital) charity and after speaking to the charity, all funds raised will go to the Radiotherapy department.
