From the buzz of the start line in Newcastle upon Tyne to crossing the famous Tyne Bridge and finishing by the coast in South Shields, you’ll experience one of the UK’s most loved running events.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or taking on your very first half marathon, you’ll be cheered on every step of the way by incredible crowds, lively entertainment, and the famous Great North Run atmosphere. Your journey will be fully supported, with a well-organised route, water stations, and a brilliant race day experience from start to finish.
